Dr. Sarah Bomkapre Koroma is a communications professional and technology Expert with a robust multi-media background. As a journalist and journalism scholar, her work has been featured in Sierra Leone, Liberia, Germany, South Sudan, and the Netherlands. Sarah is passionate about projects that empower and advance people, especially women and youth. She believes in innovative, sustainable solutions that make a difference in our world. Her book Journalism Cultures in Sierra Leone:Between Global Norms and Local Pressures was published in 2023 by Palgrave Macmillan. Education : PHD

Director

Jonathan Thorpe brings extensive experience and leadership to MEDUTECHD, overseeing various initiatives and ensuring the organization's mission and vision are realized through effective strategies and programs. He holds a Bachelor's degree in Theology/Theological Studies from the Christian Leadership University, a Diploma in Information Technology, a Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) from the QuantumNet Institute of Technology, The Gambia and holds a Microsoft Fundamentals Certification among others. He is the Founder and Director of the Lyrikal Priest Foundation and The Lyrikal Priest Broadcasts. Jonathan Thorpe has served in various capacities in the media and music industries in Sierra Leone, the UK and the USA.

Alhaji Issa Bangura works closely with our partners and stakeholders to implement and monitor projects, ensuring they meet their goals and create positive impacts. His expertise in project management is invaluable to our success. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from the Institute of Public Administration and Management (IPAM-USL), an advanced Certificate in Information Technology from the BlueCrest College, Sierra Leone, a Diploma in Computer Networking from Microsoft Virtual Academy online, a Diploma in Sustainable Business and other certifications. Alhaji Issa Bangura has served as a coordinator for several non-profits and the private business sector in Sierra Leone. He is experienced in project management, Marketing and aspiring Network Systems Professional.

Emmanuel Nyakeh Momoh

Emmanuel Nyakeh Momoh is dedicated to coordinating and managing projects that drive technological innovation and community empowerment. His commitment to excellence and passion for development are key assets to our team. He is a Masters Candidate in Mass Communications from Fourah Bay College and LLB Student at the University of Sierra Leone. He holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree in English from the same institution. Emmanuel Nyakeh Momoh has worked in Print and Broadcast Media, and the Development Communication Sector in Sierra Leone. He is a Cohort Fellow of the 2022 Digital Innovation Fellowship for young entrepreneurs and innovators in Nigeria, Ghana, Sierra Leone and Liberia.

David Alpha Sesay brings a wealth of experience in project coordination and community engagement. His meticulous approach and dedication to empowering local communities play a critical role in the success of our initiatives. He studied Human Resources Management at the University of Management and Technology (UNIMTECH). He is a facilitator working for Reliance Entrepreneur for Sustainable Development.

Alieu Kamara serves as the editorial assistant for MEDUTECHD. He currently studies Mass Communication at the University of Makeni (UNIMAK), Alieu is a passionate social media activist and the founder of Daily Night Newspaper, a prominent online hub for news and events on his university campus. Known as "The Voice of AMCU" for his advocacy and support for his fellow students, Alieu brings a fresh perspective and dedicated enthusiasm to our journalistic endeavors.

She is a Field Assistant for the World of Journalism Study Project from the Eastern Region of Sierra Leone. She is a seasoned journalist with over seven years of experience in the field. She is passionate about storytelling and believes in journalism's power to inform and inspire. Whether she is investigating pressing issues or crafting compelling narratives, her goal is to make a meaningful impact through her work.

Jannie Abiodun Ayo

Jannie Abiodun Ayo

She is a Field Assistant for the World of Journalism Study Project from the Southern Region of Sierra Leone. She studied Administrative/Personal Assistant/Secretarial Studies at DES Institute of Business and Management, Freetown and did trainings, in-house trainings, and internship on Journalism Studies. She is the Station Manager of Voice of Faith 89.3 FM - Bo and is a member of The Sierra Leone Association of Journalists (SLAJ) and Sierra Leone Association of Women in Journalism (SLAWIJ).

She is a tutor at Easy Learning Services-Freetown, an intern at the Communications Directorate Human Right Commission of Sierra Leone and also a final year student at the Mass Communication Fourah Bay College, University of Sierra Leone. She is an adaptable young professional who is open to learning new things. She has been part of trainings and is open for more experiences.

She is a Field Assistant for the World of Journalism Study Project from the Southern Region of Sierra Leone. She is a Broadcaster and has been working for Radio New Song - Bo, Southern Sierra Leone for 13 years. She has rosed through the ranks and is currently the Production Manager for the institution. She is a proud member of The Sierra Leone Association of Journalists (SLAJ) and serves as the Financial Secretary for the Southern Region. She is also a member of Women in The Media - Sierra Leone, (WIMSAL).
